The IELTS exam is an internationally recognized test of English language proficiency. It is designed to assess the English language skills of individuals who want to study, work, or immigrate to countries where English is the primary language of communication.
The IELTS exam is available in two formats:
Four recorded conversations or monologues, played only once. 40 questions test your ability to comprehend spoken English.
Three long reading passages with multiple-choice, identifying information, matching information and sentence-completion questions. 40 questions in total.
Task 1: describe a graph, table, chart or diagram in your own words. Task 2: write an essay on a given topic.
A face-to-face interview in three parts — general questions, a topic card to talk about for two minutes, then follow-up questions.
